This was quoted from MM Lee's condolence letter to Dr Balaji's wife.
This week has been rather gloomly as we lost three talented people.One of my age. The pain must be hard to bear for the families.
Most of us want to be prepared. But when given the time, there is fear and reluctance to let go of our loved ones even though we know the ultimate outcome. I pray for peace and strength.
It is difficult to find such an inspiring role model. A loving wife, caring mother and an intelligent lawyer, one described as having 'penetrating wit'.
My deepest condolences. Stay strong MM.
